6.3 Maintenance / Care / Inspection
Fig. 26
Post-harvest cleaning
After a largely dry harvest campaign, dry cleaning,
e.g. exclusively with compressed air, is recom-
mended.
If the machine is exposed to high levels of moisture
and soiling due to harvesting conditions, cleaning
with a high-pressure cleaner is essential.

Inspection after the harvest season
During the regular inspection (after the harvest sea-
son), the following components must be checked
and replaced if necessary:
• Protection device of the PTO shaft
• Hydraulic hoses and hydraulic fittings

Roller chains
The mounted roller chain for the auger drive must
be kept rust-free during storage.
Otherwise, the relevant recommendations for roller
chain care apply.

Warehousing
It is best to store the pickup in a well-ventilated hall.
All bare metal parts should be protected from rust.
Load handling equipment may only be
used as intended. Any modification or
use with other machines is prohibited.
