Auxiliary Audio to Select Audio
The transmitted audio from the auxiliary audio input may be monitored at the position
over the console speaker. This is useful when an external encoder is used, so that the
operator can hear the encoder’s tones as they are being transmitted.
Auxiliary Audio Input Impedance
The auxiliary audio input is often used for connection to external encoders. To properly
match the output impedance of the encoder, the input impedance of the auxiliary audio
input may be set high or low.
Recorder Output and VU Meter
The audio recorder output and the VU meter are a summation of the console microphone
transmit audio and its select receive audio. Optionally, its unselect receive audio may be
added.
