Operation
In this example, the recorder has been positioned to play message number 1.
Pausing a Record Playback
A playback can be paused before the end of the message by pressing the
IRR Play
button
while playback is in progress. The following display is shown in the call field of the
channel:
"IR||2"
Subsequent operation of the
IRR Play
button continues the playback from the point in the
message where the pause was invoked.
Resetting the Playback Message Number
A playback may be terminated while in progress by pressing the
IRR Reset
button. This
returns the message pointer to the end of the recording storage, pointing to the start of the
last recorded message. The
IRR Reset
button may also be used after rewinding and
playing back an earlier recorded message.
Subscriber List Window
Subscriber List window contains two panes. The left pane displays a list of subscriber
groups for MAP27, iDEN, SDC, or MDC-1200. The right pane displays a list of
subscriber IDs for the currently selected subscriber group. When one of these panes is on
focus, operator may search for a group or an alias by typing in the group name or
subscriber alias. If neither of these panes is on focus, keyboard entry is treated as ID or
status or text entry depending on current context.
Call History Window
The Call History window can be enabled by pressing the
Misc Menu
button and then the
File Maint
button. At this point, you see buttons labeled
Show Call Window
and
Hide
Call Window
, which enable or disable the Call History window display. When enabled,
the window shows a list of received calls from the field units. The information includes:
•
TalkGroup/Chan
- The talkgroup/channel where the call is received.
•
Group Name
- Alias(es) for associated Radio Groups of identified Subscriber IDs
are displayed here.
•
ID
- The calling radio’s ID. This ID can be aliased to a 10-character alphanumeric
string.
•
Long Alias
- User can program a longer alias, up to a 20 character alphanumeric
string, for a private ID. This is optional and is only displayed in the call history
window.
•
Status
- Used for status or message calls depending on the radio type.
•
Date/Time
- The date and time of call received.
