INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SAFE USE OF THE DEVICE
1.1 General instructions
The WSB ZPiezo CAN controller has been designed, built and tested in accordance with DIN EN
61010-1 (IEC 61010-
1) “Safety provisions for electrical measurement, control, regulation and
labor
atory devices”.
It meets the RoHS guideline 2011/65/EC and is marked with the
sign.
The WSB ZPiezo CAN meets the EC low voltage guidelines 2006/95/EC, 2014/35/EC and the
EC EMC guidelines 2004/108/EC, 2014/30/EC.
These user instructions contain information and warnings which must be heeded by the operating
company.
The devices must be disposed of in accordance with the WEEE guideline 2012/19/EC.
The paragraphs below list the warning and instruction symbols that are used in these user
instructions.
CAUTION
This symbol indicates a hazard which may arise for the user.

Remove the power plug before any intervention in the instrument.
ATTENTION
This symbol indicates a hazard which may arise for the device or the device system.
NOTE
This symbol indicates a note which should be observed with special care.
The WSB ZPiezo CAN controller may be used only in conjunction with the ZPiezo WSB 500
stage attatchment unit and the specified stage inserts.
