5.2 Fitting a stage insert
The stage inserts listed below can be fitted to the ZPiezo WSB 500 stage attatchment:
(432339-9030-000) stage insert universal
(432339-9040-000) stage insert for multidishes
(432339-9050-000) stage insert for heated inserts
(432339-9060-000) stage insert for object carriers
(432339-9070-000) stage insert for Petri dishes
(432339-9070-000) stage insert universal level adjustable
Before a stage insert is fitted, it is essential that the stage attatchment is mounted on a
microscope stage.
The symmetry of the stage inserts excludes the possibility of incorrect fitting. Please fit it
cautiously and if necessary turn it through 180°.
Fitting is identical for all types of stage inserts. Here for instance the stage insert for object carriers
(432339-9060-000) is shown.
The screws kit, consisting of a 2.5 mm hexagon L-wrench and four screws of the type DIN EN ISO 4762
M3x8-A2, is supplied with the stage insert.
First screw the screws in loosely, then tighten them across diagonals.
