Control and display panel
The control and display panel permits you to control all electrical func-
tions of the S7 floor stand and the surgical microscope.

Friction adjustment
Knob for adjusting the friction of the carrier arm's swivel movement.

Maneuvering handle
for moving the floor stand. Before relocating the stand, you can hang
the foot control panel on the hooks of the handle and wind up the
power cord.

Connector panel
for connecting the unit to line power. Further connectors are provided
for powering peripheral equipment. The foot or hand control panel can
be connected to a multi-point connector.

Friction adjustment
Knob for adjusting the friction of the suspension arm's swivel move-
ment.

Cable bolt
for winding up the power cord and the cable of the foot control panel.

Brake tabs
for steerable caster (4 casters are provided).
To secure the stand in position, press at least two brake tabs:
Press down to lock the caster.
Press upward to release the caster.

Steerable caster
The four casters roll very smoothly, permitting the unit to be easily
wheeled to the site of use.
