Automatic filter changer (option)
The X-ray spectrum can be changed by filters. This allows the image
quality to be improved in certain cases. You can use the »Automatic fil-
ter changer« option to automatically move the various filters into the X-
ray beam.
The filter changer contains several permanently installed filters of differ-
ent materials and thicknesses. Five filter holders are provided for your
own filters. Size of your own filters: 20 × 20 mm. See figure below.
The filters are selected in the user software. Each filter is assigned a
unique position. Once you have selected a filter, the filter changer ro-
tates to the assigned position. User-specific filters have to be created in
the user software. See the operating instructions for the user software.
