Requirements for the operation of a CT system
There are special requirements for the operation of a CT system depend-
ing on country. These requirements must be met.
In general, this includes registration with the respective X-ray regulatory
authority, and acceptance by a specialist.
Germany
The following specifications refer to the operation of X-ray devices in the
Federal Republic of Germany. In other countries, there are correspond-
ing regulations which must be complied with by the operator.
NOTE
Operation of the METROTOM is subject to licensing in accordance with
Sec. 12 of the Radiation Protection Act.
The following measures must be implemented by the operator to obtain
an operating license:
