6.3.4 Adjusting the Height of the Carbon Nozzle
Make routine optimization adjustments to the height of the carbon nozzle to ensure the nozzle is
ideally located for all specimens.
After an exchange of the carbon nozzle, you need to adjust the height of the carbon nozzle.

1. Untighten the fixing screws

2. Use a hex key to turn the height adjustment set screw

clockwise to raise the carbon
nozzle.
