Tips for preheating the appliance, cup and
filter holder before each use
In order to obtain a better result, it is recommended
to preheat the appliance, the cups and the filter
holder before each use.
1.
Unwind the appliance's power cord and plug the
plug into a power outlet.
2.
Place the filter for ground coffee (1 or 2 cups) or
the filter for E.S.E. pod inside the filter holder, without
coffee.
3.
Insert the filter holder into the appliance.
4.
Place a cup under the filter holder. Check that the
steam knob controller is in position 0.
5.
Place your cups on the cup warm tray.
6.
Press on the ON/OFF
, it lights up red and the
espresso dispensing button
flashes white.
The appliance enters preheating mode for a period of
2 minutes.
The required temperature is reached when:
a.
the
espresso
dispensing
button
lights
continuously;
b.
and the temperature gauge needle is in position
.
7.
Press on the espresso dispensing button
,
and let the water flow into the cup for 20 seconds.
Press again on the espresso dispensing button
to stop the water flow.
8.
Your appliance, cup and filter holder are warmed
up, you can start preparing your coffee.
Preparing an espresso coffee
1.
Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
2.
Unwind the appliance's power cord and plug the
plug into a power outlet.
3.
Place the filter for ground coffee (1 or 2 cups) or
the filter for E.S.E. pod inside the filter holder.
4.
Insert the filter holder into the appliance.
5.
Check that the steam knob controller is in position
0.
6.
Place your cups on the cup warm tray.
7.
Press on the ON/OFF
, it lights up red and the
espresso dispensing button
flashes white.
The appliance enters preheating mode for a period of
2 minutes.
The required temperature is reached when:
a.
the espresso dispensing button lights
continuously;
b.
and the temperature gauge needle is in
position
.
8.
Place your warmed cup under the filter holder.
9.
Press on the espresso dispensing button
, the
coffee will flow directly into the cup. Press again on
the espresso dispensing button
to stop the
coffee flow.
10.
Press on the ON/OFF button
to switch off the
appliance.
Notes:
The coffee flow must be stopped manually, be careful
not to leave the appliance unattended when in use.
Wait until the preheating phase has finished to start
making your coffee otherwise the finished coffee will
be cold.
For best results, we recommend that you preheat the
appliance, cup and filter holder.
Never remove the filter holder during the flow phase
to avoid any risk of burns.
The appliance makes a pumping noise during
operation, which is normal.
Standby mode
It goes into standby automatically after 25 minutes if
it is not in use. To exit the standby mode, press on
the ON/OFF button
or on the espresso
dispensing button
.
