3.14 Loading oil for putting the refrigerator circuit into service
Adding oil to the system according to the instructions below will result in the
SOQ
(System Oil Quantity),
which is the correct amount of oil in the system.
The SOQ corresponds to 15% of the refrigerant charge. To this, it is necessary to subtract the
COL
(Compressor Oil Level), i.e. the quantity of oil already present in the road compressor.
Example:
Refrigerant charge: 1.5 Kg = 1,500 cc (approximately)
COL: 150 cc
SOQ: 1,500 x 15% = 225 cc
Oil to be added: SOQ - COL = 225 - 150 =
75 cc
NOTE
After the vacuum process (see 3.9), by using the vacuum pump on the low pressure
side (LP), the oil will be drawn by the differential pressure through the liquid receiver for
the required quantity.
When commissioned, operate the unit for
10 minutes minimum
to allow good lubrication.
CAUTION
Turn on the system in Road mode, NOT External power supply mode.
NOTE
Add
20 cc
of oil to special configurations when using a piping extension Kit.
