USING THE Z3-MVE-40 TO ENCODE 4 CHANNELS INTO 4 UDP OR RTP STREAMS

This section gives step-by-step instructions on using the Z3-MVE-40 to encode 4 1080i streams to UDP or RTP.

6.1

Set up the Video Sources

(1)

Configure 4 SDI sources to output 1080i.

6.2

Connect the Z3-MVE-40

(2)

Connect the Ethernet and power cord to the Z3-MVE-40.

(3)

Next, connect each of the 4 video sources to “3G-SDI INPUT1-4.”

Power up the Z3-MVE-40

Turn on the Z3-MVE-40:

After 1-2 minutes, the IP address will appear on the LCD. Note this value of the IP address.
