STREAMING RTMP
This section shows how to use the Z3-HE4K-01 to stream over RTMP to a server. Z3 has used the Wowza
Streaming Engine
TM
as an example server for RTMP streaming.
*Note:
VLC does not support RTMP. The test player within Wowza Streaming Engine
TM
is recommended.
Connect the Encoder

Follow steps (1) – (10) in Section 6.0 to connect the Z3-HE4K-01 for encode and bring up the encoder
user interface.
Configure for RTMP Streaming

Click on the “CH1” tab.

Set “Output Format” to “RTMP” using the dropdown menu.

For “Dest Address”, type “192.168.0.2:1935/live/4k”, where:
a.
“192.168.0.2” is the IP address of the PC with the Wowza server
b.
“1935” is the PC port
c.
“live” matches the application selected within Wowza
d.
“4k” represents the name of your stream and will also need to match the information
provided to Wowza in Section 7.5.
