6.2 Set up the Decoder board to work with the Encoder board
As shipped the Decoder board will have the same IP address as the Encoder board (192.168.81.07).
Either the Encoder board or the Decoder board (or both) should have “DHCP” activated, so that they
can have different addresses.

If not already done, set DHCP on the Encoder board (see Section 5.13 for details on how to do
this). You can also set DHCP on the Decoder board.
In this example, the Encoder board through DHCP has an IP address of 192.168.0.3. The
Decoder board is set to the default value of 192.168.81.07.

Going back to the Encoder board (192.168.0.3), change the settings to match those in the figure
below. Here a multicast address is used. You can also try streaming unicast to the IP address of
the Decoder board (192.168.81.07 in this example). Using multicast allows you to also open VLC
and view the stream from there:
