Set up the Terminal Window

If you are running from a Windows PC, we recommend running TeraTerm for serial configuration and 

monitoring.  Select

 

“Setup –

 Seri

al Port” and 

use the following settings:

Whichever serial port the port is connected to 

 

 

Baud Rate:    115200

8-bit

Ensure the right Serial Device is specified (typically “/dev/ttyUSB0”)

Set option E (“Bps/Par/Bits”) to 115200 8N1

 Power on the Board

Connect the 12V 1A power supply. 

(2)

 

Turn on the power switch. If all is configured properly, you will see the board booting up within the 

terminal window. After 2 minutes, you will see the RPS Main Menu. 

 

Note the local IP address and netmask (192.168.0.120 and 255.255.0.0 by default). This is the IP address 
of the board. You will need this later to access the HTTP-based use interface.
