Main Encoder PCB

The Main Encoder PCB contains the core functionality of the H.265/H.264 encoder, including processor,
memories and power supplies.

There are two versions of CPU board.
CPU Version 1 is used for single camera encoders, while CPU Version 2 can be used for single or multi-
camera encoders. Figure 10 below shows the two different versions side by side, with Version 1 on the
left and Version 2 on the right.

Although the two versions of encoder PCB are pin-for-pin compatible with just a few exceptions, the
reference designators of the connectors are different. Table

below shows the reference designator

for the various connectors on both versions of encoder PCB.
