13.2.1 Encoding HEVC Interlaced Streams
The FVXK/FSDI-13A-RPS can encode interlaced streams with H.265 (HEVC)
(1)
Check
Advanced settings
on the
System Setup
tab.
(2)
On the Channel tab you want interlaced support on, select
Separated
from the
Video
Interlaced Mode
drop down list.
Currently ffplay is the only PC player capable of playing the H.265 interlaced stream properly.
Using the following command:
ffplay -vf tinterlace=merge rtsp://
<IP ADDRESS OF Z3 DEVICE>
/z3-1.mp4
Within the command the -vf tinterlace=merge option is what tells ffplay what to do with the
interlaced fields. You may also use Z3 H.265 Decoder products to play back the H.265 interlaced
streams. The interlaced stream will be detected automatically.
