The minimum working voltage of the module is 3.3V. Due to the transmission of data or
GSM calls, a current of more than 2A will be generated, resulting in a ripple voltage drop
on the power supply voltage, so the actual power supply voltage must not be lower than
3.3V.
Due to the large current consumption of the module power pins, it is recommended that the
PCB traces be as short and wide as possible to minimize the equivalent impedance of the
VBAT trace.
When the module is in an abnormal state, it is recommended to turn off the module by
turning off the power, and then restart the module after power on.
3.3.3 VDD_EXT Voltage output
The CLM920_RC3 module outputs 1.8V through VDD_EXT for internal digital circuits.
This voltage is the logic level voltage of the module. After normal booting, the 17th pin will
output a voltage of 1.8V, which can be used by external small current circuits. For example:
level conversion chip, GPIO pull-up, etc..
3.4 Switch machine reset
3.4.1 Module boot
Pin 21 of the CLM920_RC3 module is the boot pin. The module can be powered on by
