Receive Gain Control / Transmit Power Control
Users can use the following three ways to adjust the size of the platform input/output signal power.
6.6.1
set_RX_Gain()
⚫
set_RX_Gain([RF_chain0 Gain0; RF_chain1 Gain1; RF_chain2 Gain2; RF_chain3 Gain3])
⚫
Input array: [RF_chain0 Gain0; RF_chain1 Gain1; RF_chain2 Gain2; RF_chain3 Gain3]
This type is used to control the received power. The value stands for the gain of RX power, and the range
is from 0 to 40 (dB). Put the columns of the matrix into the corresponding RF chain and Gain vaule. The
rows of the matrix can be many dimensions, and can be repeated. In addition, it can’t set the
corresponding RF chain more than the existing RF chain number. The RX Gain size depending on the
Environment and the distance between signal source. If the signal power is too small, the gain can be
adjusted upwards.
For example:
If user want to change multiple RF chain’s RX gain, user can set each RF chain one by one, but
set it togrther is more efficiently.
For other case:
The same chain can be set repeatedly:
set_RX_Gain([0 15; 0 13; 0 20]);
There is no limit to the column length of the set matrix:
set_RX_Gain([0 15; 1 15; 2 20; …]);
Table of RF chain (*Can’t set more than the existing RF chain number.):
For example:
−
Single SDR:
set_RX_Gain([0 20; 1 20; 2 20; 3 20]);
*RF chain number only have 0,1,2,3.
