OPERATIONAL LIMITATIONS (ENGLISH)
Temperature and Flows
Excessive flow will cause damage to the
cooler. Do not exceed max. cooler flow.
Special care should be taken when mul-
tiple chillers are fed by a single pump.
NOTE
• For leaving brine temperature below 40°F (4.4°C),
contact your nearest Johnson Controls Office for
application requirements.
• For leaving water temperature higher than 55°F
(12.8°C), contact the nearest Johnson Controls
Office for application guidelines.
• The evaporator is protected against freezing to
-20°F (-28.8°C) with an electric heater as stan-
dard.
• For operation at temperatures below 25°F
(-3.9°C), the optional Low Ambient Kit will need
to be installed.
• For operation at temperatures above 115°F
(46.1°C), the optional High Ambient Kit will need
to be installed on the system.

operation beyond these limitations may cause serious
damage to the compressor.
