All YORK YEFB units are provided with dynamically balanced fan decks, in order
to reduce noise at minimum levels and to avoid vibrations. For this reason,
YORK suggest to ask for a new complete and balanced fan deck, instead of
replacing single components (for ex. only the electric motor).
YORK is not responsible for any problems due to modifications or replacements
executed on original fan decks.
7.5.2 REVERSING THE POSITION OF THE WATER CONNECTIONS
For maintenance operations turn off the unit and wait for some minutes. Always use protection gloves.
The water connections can be reversed on site, from the left to the right side, before
installing the unit, by following the instructions below.
•
Disconnect and remove the electric box Par. 7.5.1 Fig. 7
•
Remove the bottom closure panels Fig. 12 and Fig. 13
•
Remove the fixing screws of the condensate drain pan Fig. 14
•
Remove the condensate drain pan Fig. 15
•
Remove the screws fixing the heat exchanger Fig. 16
•
Remove the heat exchanger Fig. 17
•
At the end of this operation, break down with a hummer the perforating sections
on the side of the unit accordingly to the new position of the water connections and
mount back all components in the opposite sequence
•
Mount back the electric box on the same side of the water connections, paying
particular attention not to prejudice the conformity of the electric cabling.
