7.4 TROUBLESHOOTING
Here is a list of possible problems and malfunctions, their causes and the procedures that
you or the technical service must perform to correct the malfunction.
In case of other problems, contact the area distributor or YORK service department.
In case of fire: To prevent risk of electrocution, do not use water. Use powder
or CO
2
extinguishers.

The unit does not deliver air
Lack on the power supply
Verify the network voltage and/
or integrity of the fuse on the
control’s electronic card and
the rightness of the electrical
connections
Set point reached
Check the control setting
In presence of WS, hot water
temperature <35°C, insufficient
water flow and/or temperature in
coil, or damaged WS
Check the water temperature and
water flow on the coil and/or the
correct working of the WS (water
sensor)
Electric motor burnt
Replace the faulty component
The YEFB unit produces
anomalous noise
The filter and/or the coil is
clogged
Clean/replace the filter and/or
the coil
Vibrations caused by a wrong
installation and/or loosening of
the fixing screws
Verify carefully and carry out the
corrective actions
Unbalanced fan deck
Replace it
Insufficient air volume
and /or capacity
The filter and/or the coil is
clogged
Clean/replace the filter and/or
the coil
The fan speed is too low
Change the position of the speed
selector;
The air delivered by the unit is
not hot or cold enough
Water and/or air temperature at
the entry of the YEFB unit does
not comply with the expected
values
Verify the available capacity and
the capacity of the unit installed.
Operate accordingly
The pump is insufficient to
handle operational requirements
Replace the pump with a pump
suitable to the installation requi-
rements
