I. Installation instruction
A. Launcher
1. Open the battery cover of the launcher;
2. Insert the battery (23A 12V) according to the (+/-) mark within the battery
cap correctly and close battery the cover.
B. Receiver
1. Open the battery cover of the receiver;
2. Insert the battery (CR2) according to the (+/-) mark within the battery cap
and close the battery cover.
II. Application method
A. Common method
1. Insert the flash lamp into the hot shoe of the receiver and press the button
on the receiver. When the indication lamp of the receiver flashes, it
indicates that it has started up. The indication lamp will flash once every 3s
under normal circumstance.
2. Set the launcher and receiver in the same channel, start the power of the
flash lamp and set up the output brightness of the flash lamp, then press
the measurement button on the launcher, if the flash lamp flashes, it
indicates that the product is under normal operation.
3. Insert the launcher into the hot shoe of the camera, at that time you can
utilize the camera to point to the landscape to be shot and then press the
shutter, the flash lamp on the receiver will flash under the synchronous
signal of the launcher and then the picture required is achieved.
B. Special method
On the basis of che common mechod, another flash lamp can be inserted into
the hot shoe which is build in YN-04 launcher. During shooting, the flash lamp
on top machine launcher as well as on the receiver will flash synchronously
according to the shutter of the camera, reaching an excellent flash fill effect.
C. Flash guidance of the film making lamp
On the basis of the common application method, you can also use the given
connection wire to connect the film making lamp with the synchronous end of
the receiver. During shooting, the film making lamp will flash under the
synchronous signal as well.
D. Application of the multi-lamp
You can purchase several YN-04 receivers to connect with various flash lamps
respectively and to be put in different places and angles, then insert the
launcher into the hot shoe of the camera, at this time, all the flash lamps will
flash under the synchronous signal of the camera, reaching the effect that
several lamps will guide the flash.
