Explanation
MAX Hold Function
The maximum values (MAX) of V (voltage), A (current), W (active power), VA
(apparent power), var (reactive power), Vpk (voltage peak), and Apk (current peak)
can be held while the MAX hold function is enabled. When a value greater than the
held value is measured, the larger value is held. The initial setting is oFF.
• on: The MAX HOLD indicator illuminates, and the MAX hold function is enabled.
• oFF: The MAX HOLD indicator turns OFF, and the MAX hold function is disabled.
Note
While the MAX hold function is active, the maximum values of V (voltage), A (current), W
(active power), VA (apparent power), and var (reactive power) are displayed continuously.
The displayed values for Vpk (voltage peak) and Apk (current peak) are the absolute values
of the maximum value. For example, if the plus side peak is +100.1 Vpk and the minus side
peak is –100.2 Vpk, then –100.2 Vpk is displayed for the voltage peak. The values for D/A
output, output to external plotter and printer, and communication output are also set to the
maximum values (MAX) that are held.
