Setting the Sequence Trigger (Option)
You must select the trigger source and sampling clock source and set whether each
element of each output terminal set (OUT) outputs the waveform by waiting for the
sequence trigger. Set these items as necessary.
• You can set one trigger source and one sampling clock source. You can also select
an external trigger source signal or an external sampling clock signal (see section
13.7).
• If the sequence trigger wait is enabled on any element of each output terminal set, the
line to Trigger Destination in the Trigger View (see page 7-7) shown using the Trigger
menu turns blue.
• The switching of elements that are set to trigger wait varies depending on the repeat
count setting (see section 2.5).
• If a trigger is not activated while outputting the waveform, the VB8300 waits for a
trigger in a no signal condition.
• The sequence operation is independent for each output terminal set (OUT).
• If a trigger is activated while a waveform of an element that is not set to trigger wait is
being output, the trigger is invalid.
• You cannot select the sampling clock source if the trigger source is not selected.
• For both the trigger source and sampling clock source, the rising edge of the signal
pulse is detected as a trigger.
Editing the Sequence List
Deleting an Element
The settings of a single selected element can be deleted. A confirmation message does
not appear when deleting elements.
Copying & Pasting an Element
The settings of a single selected element can be copied and inserted at the selected
element (location). However, if the waveform data length of all the elements reaches the
memory length of the model that you are using, no more elements can be inserted.
