For the general handling precautions of the CF card or USB memory, read the instruction
manual that came with the CF card or USB memory.
Formatting the CF Card or USB Memory
The VB8300 does not have a function to format the CF card or USB memory. If the
VB8300 does not detect the CF card or USB memory, format it on your PC. Select FAT
or FAT32 for the file system when formatting.
Data Sizes of the CF Card That Can Be Used
The data sizes of the CF card that can be used on the VB8300 are as follows:
8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, and 512 MB
Data Sizes of the USB Memory That Can Be Used
The data sizes of the USB memory that can be used on the VB8300 are as follows:
16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, and 256 MB
