Applications of I Relays (for UM33A)

11.1 Overview
This chapter describes the functions and applications of the I relays.
I relays are used in Modbus communication, PC link communication, and contact input /
output functions.
I relays contain status information of errors, operation, and alarms. Contents of I relays
can be read only by means of communication using a host computer. (Note that the
I relays have the same information as the D registers but with I relays, some of the
information is read-only.).

Use of the I relays enables the following:

Centralized control by the host computer
D registers and I relays oh the UTAdvanced are used for parameter settings or ladder
program creations of LL50A Parameter Setting Software.
