Connecting the Power Supply
Before Connecting the Power Supply
Follow the warnings below to avoid electric shock or damage to the instrument.
WARNING
• Before connecting the power cord, ensure that the source voltage matches the
rated supply voltage of the instrument and that it is within the maximum rated
voltage of the provided power cord.
• Check that the power switch of the instrument is turned OFF before connecting
the power cord.
• To prevent the possibility of electric shock or fire, be sure to use the power cord
for the instrument that was supplied by YOKOGAWA.
• Make sure to connect protective grounding to prevent electric shock. Connect
the power cord of the adapter to a three-prong power outlet that has a protective
grounding terminal.
• Do not use an extension cord that does not have a protective grounding wire.
The protective features of the instrument will be rendered ineffective.
• Use an AC outlet that complies with the power cord provided and securely
connect the protective grounding. Do not use the instrument if no such
compatible power outlet and proper protective grounding are available.
