Gateway Setup
This chapter describes how to set up the gateway.
IMPORTANT
• In the settings of this gateway, the DHCP server is enabled by default. Before configuring
initial settings, ensure that this gateway is only connected to the configuration PC.
NOTE
• Changes made to the settings of this gateway are applied by selecting [Save and Restart]. If
you have made any changes, do not forget to click [Save and Restart].
5.1 Login
After logging in to the gateway via the Web browser, start the setup work.
The IP address, user name, and password are required to set up the gateway. The factory default
settings are as follows.

IP address: 192.168.2.1
•
User name: admin
•
Password: admin
When you log in to the gateway for the first time via the Web browser, the First Time Setup
Wizard may be displayed. This wizard is not used in this chapter. If this is displayed, close it.
NOTE
• When you log in to the gateway via the Web browser, a security certification error window
may be displayed. In such a case, continue to a site browsing.
• The gateway password can be changed from [Access Configuration] of [Administration].
