2.5 Recording and Saving Videos and Waveforms
This section explains how to record and save videos and the measuring instrument waveforms.
1.
After carrying out the procedure in section 2.4, click the
Control
tab and then
Rec
.
Video recording and waveform acquisition start. The Stop icon becomes available.

If you click
DAQ Setting
, a DAQ Setting window will appear. Here you can set the save destination, file
name, and so on for saving the contents in step 2.
By default, C:\Users\user name\Documents\YOKOGAWA\IS8000 is selected.

Stop
.
The recorded video and acquired waveform data are saved automatically.
If you stop saving in the middle of the operation, you can click
Save Video
on the
Video
tab to carry out
the save operation again.

The following three data files are saved.
• Waveform data file (.mf4 extension)
• Video data file (.avi extension)
• IS8000 analysis project file (.anpjt extension)
