9.2 Wiper Exchanging

CAUTION
Do not HOLD or INSERT any small hard foreign matters between front glass surface and the
WIPER BLADE. If moving on as is, it may bruise front glass
.

[Method 1] (Exchange WIPER ASSY )
1) If a Hood is attached to the camera module, at first remove it by loosening four securing
screws on both side
2) Remove the WIPER ASSY from the camera module. (Using the hexagon wrench of the
accessories, loosen and remove the two setscrews securing the WIPER ASSY .)
3) Replace the WIPER BLADE with a new one.
4) Install the WIPER ASS

to the position to the camera module, shown in the figure.
5) Verify the wiper's swing range, and adjustment, however before operation see above ( ! CAUTON )
6) Reattach the installed Hood with its original screws.
7) During the steps of from 2) to 4), AC power-line unplug
[Method 2] (Exchange WIPER BLADE )
1) Loosen and remove the setscrew securing the
WIPER FRAME
’s pin to the
WIPER ARM ,
shown in the figure of far-left above.
2) Remove the WIPER FRAME holding old WIPER BLADE
3 ) Pluck out the old WIPER BLADE.
4) Insert the new WIPER BRADE (The position to install it is the apical end relative to the notch of
the installing part of the
WIPER FRAME , shown in the figure of far-right above..)
5) Reattach the WIPER FRAME holding new WIPER BLADE by plus pin, to the WIPER ARM
