18.5 Updating the Firmware

Procedure

Executes the firmware update

Select the drive that contains the

firmware update file (internal memory,

USB memory).

Explanation

To update the firmware, select a firmware update file (.YMC extension).
• You can change file names, except for the extension, as necessary. For instructions on how to

change the file name, see section 16.4.

• When the firmware update ends successfully, the AQ1200 restarts automatically.
• When the firmware update fails, “Cannot load this file. Invalid file ∙∙∙∙∙∙” appears. Make sure that

there are no problems with the firmware update file.

• For instructions on how to view the version of your AQ1200, see section 18.3.
• Connect the AC adapter.
