10.7 Initializing the
Internal Memory
CAUTION
Do not remove USB memory or turn off the power when the USB memory access indicator is
blinking or when data is being saved or loaded from internal memory. Doing so may damage
the storage medium (USB memory or internal memory) or corrupt its data.
Procedure

Select “Format.”
Formatting
The internal memory is initialized. All the data in the internal memory is deleted. Before you initialize
the internal memory, backup the data as necessary.
Note
Using the mini B USB port on this instrument, you can send the files and folders in this instrument internal
memory to a PC. To do this, set this instrument mini B USB port function to Storage (see section 10.1). When
the PC accesses this instrument and downloads the files, the download speed depends on the performance
of the PC.
