This guide covers the basic features and operation of the 

Yealink models CP920 and CP930W Conference 

telephones.

Conference Telephones

 

Quick User Guide

Introduction:

The Yealink CP920 and CP930W are full-featured IP 

conference telephones, ideal for use in small to mid-size 

conference rooms. 
The CP920 uses a direct, wired connection to a local area 

network, while the CP930W is a wireless device that 

connects to the network using a DECT wireless base station. 

About the CP930W:

A single W60B base station can connect up to 8 CP930W 

conference phones and/or W56 Cordless handsets. 
The CP930W contains a rechargeable battery that provides 

up to 24 house of in-use “talk” time. To recharge the 

battery, place the phone on the provided charger base.

Microphones:

Both models have three built-in microphones which provide 

clear audio pickup of all participants within a 20’ radius. 

 

Features and Controls:

This diagram illustrates the major features and controls on 

your phone.

We’ll explain the function and purpose of each feature later 

in this guide. 

Adjusting the Volume:

Tap the 

 or 

icons below the screen when the phone 

is idle or ringing to adjust the ringer volume. Tap 

 or 

 during a call to adjust the receiver volume.

Changing the Ring Tone:

You can change your phone’s ring tone. This is useful 

when several phones are installed in close proximity to 

one another. 

To change the ring tone, press the Menu softkey, then 

select Settings, Basic, Sound, and Ring Tones. 

Note that you can select different ring tones for external 

and internal calls. Use the up and down arrows to select 

a ring tone, then press the Save softkey.

To Make a Call:

To manually dial a call, press the green 

 key. Listen 

for a dial tone, enter the desired number and press 

 

or the OK key to dial out. 

You may also enter the number first, then press the 

 

key to dial the number. 

Answering Incoming Calls

Touch the green 

 key or press the 

Answer

 softkey 

while the phone is ringing.

 

Ending  a Call:

Tap the 

 

End Call

 key on the screen. 

Call Muting:

To mute a call: tap one of the three green mute buttons. 

The mute key LED illuminates solid red.

To Un-mute a call:

Tap the mute button again to unmute the call. The mute 

key LED illuminates solid green.

Call Hold:

To hold a call: Tap the Hold softkey during a call.

To resume a call:Tap the Resume soft key during a call.
