VIPA CPU.

For the project engineering of PROFINET I-Device you have to search the virtual

device

‘PN I-Device for VIPA CPU’

in the hardware catalog at

PROFINET-IO

and

drag&drop it in the PROFINET subnet.

Open the properties dialog of the PROFINET IO controller of the CPU by a double-

click at

‘PN-IO’

and assign the name for the I-Device.

Write down the Name. This name must also be specified as the

‘device name’ of the I-Device for the higher-level IO controller.

For

assign an IP address via the properties dialog.
