Note:
If communication stops while the drive is running, check the following:
• Is the option properly installed?
• Is the communication line properly connected to the option? Is it loose?
• Is the controller program working? Has the controller/PLC CPU stopped?
• Did a momentary power loss interrupt communications?

• Check for wiring errors.

Check disconnected cables and short circuits and repair as needed.
Programming error on the master side
Check communications at start-up and correct programming errors.
Communication circuitry is damaged.
• Perform a self-diagnostics check.
• If the problem continues, replace either the control board or the entire
drive. For instructions on replacing the control board, contact Yaskawa
or a Yaskawa representative.
Termination resistor of the MEMOBUS/
Modbus communications is not enabled.
Set DIP switch S2 to the ON position to enable the termination resistor
on a drive located at the end of a network line.
