Remember that ethylene glycol liquids and "Tosol" are 
toxic if swallowed.  

 

Use fire extinguishers to extinguish a burning fuel spill, 
throw sand onto the fire, cover it with asbestos blanket, felt 
or tarpaulin. Don’t pour water onto the flame. 

 

When performing electric welding operations directly on 
the vehicle, open the master disconnect switch and 
disconnect the wire from the «+» generator terminal in 
order to prevent breakdown of the electronic control system 
and the regulating relay. The welding machine ground cable 
must be connected in close proximity to the welded seam.  

 

Take measures to prevent contact of sparks and molten 
metal drops formed during welding with wiring harnesses, 
fuel pipes and other engine parts and units which are 
vulnerable to heat damage.
