NOTICE: Yanmar strongly recommends that this
service should be performed by an authorized
Yanmar dealer / distributor. Damage caused by
freezing is not covered by the Yanmar Warranty.
Use a piece of wire to check the water drain
passages in the drive unit to ensure that they are
open.

CAUTION!
The drive unit should be stored in
the FULL DOWN / IN position. The U-joint
bellows may develop a set if the unit is stored in
the raised position and may fail when the unit is
returned to service.
Store the drive unit in the full DOWN (IN) position.
