3-6. Span adjustment (calibration)
When you conduct span adjustment, observe the following procedure. For span adjustment, get weights
equivalent to 3000 scale intervals (increments) and 6000 scale intervals (increments).
(Note): Conduct span adjustment at a place not exposed to vibrations or wind.
Before conducting weight calibration, ensure to put a pre-load equivalent to the weighing capacity on
the instrument.
Operation
Display
From the test mode screen, select [SPAn].
When the panel shows [SPAn], press
. The span adjustment
screen appears.
Confirm that nothing is placed on the weighing platform, and then
press
.
The system memorizes the zero point and shows “00000” as the
internal count.
Place weights equivalent to 1500 increments and press
.
The system memorizes the weight as 1500 increments and shows
“15000” as the internal count.
30kg capacity & 10g inc.
15kg weight; 60kg capacity & 20g inc.
30kg
weight; 150kg capacity & 50g inc.
75kg weight
Place weights equivalent to 3000 increments and press
.
The system memorizes the weight as 3000 increments and shows
“30000” as the internal count.
30kg capacity & 10g inc.
30kg weight; 60kg capacity & 20g inc.
60kg
weight; 150kg capacity & 50g inc.
150kg weight
The span adjustment is now complete.
To abort span adjustment during the process, remove all the weights from the instrument and then press
. All the indicator fields light up with “0” values, and the system cancels the weight calibration in
progress.
