Install the left side cover to the original position by
inserting the projections into the rubber grommets
of the body, and then install the bolts and tighten
them to the specified torque.
20.
Remove snow and water from the surface of the
Snowblower, auger, chute and other components
using dry rags.
TIP
This is to prevent any water that remains on the Snow-
blower from causing corrosion.
21.
Check all Snowblower parts. If any nuts or bolts
are loose, tighten them.
22.
Store the Snowblower in a low-humidity and well-
ventilated space indoors.
Long-term
If the Snowblower is not used for a long period of time,
follow the steps below to keep it in good condition.
1.
Follow steps 1–21 under “Short-term”.
2.
Clean each part of the Snowblower, and imple-
ment rust treatment.
3.
Place a cover on the Snowblower, and store it in a
low-humidity and well-ventilated space indoors.
Tightening torque:
Fuel cock bracket bolt:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m)
Left side cover bolt:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m)
Top cover bolt 1:
4.3 N·m (0.43 kgf·m)
Top cover bolt 2:
2.5 N·m (0.25 kgf·m)
To attach a cover or similar device to the Snow-
blower, wait until the engine and muffler have com-
pletely cooled down.
