5.
Remove the ring nut, and then remove the fuel
strainer cup, gasket and fuel strainer.
6.
Clean the fuel strainer cup and the fuel strainer,
and wash them using gasoline.
7.
Check the gasket for damage. If it is damaged,
replace it with a new one.
8.
Install the fuel strainer, the gasket and the fuel
strainer cup, then install and tighten the ring nut
securely.
TIP
Install the gasket as shown in the above illustration.
9.
Turn the fuel cock lever to the “RUN” position, and
make sure that no fuel leaks out.
10.
Install the left side cover to the original position by
inserting the projections into the rubber grommets
of the body, and then install the bolts and tighten
them to the specified torque.
Adjusting the skids
Adjust the clearance between the auger end and the
road surface correctly according to the road conditions.

Stop the engine and remove the engine switch key.

Be sure the ring nut is tightened securely. Other-
wise, the fuel may leak from the fuel strainer, which
could result in a fire hazard.
Tightening torque:
Left side cover bolt:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m)
Position the Snowblower on a level surface.
