Periodic maintenance
Refilling the transmission (HST) oil
1.
Stop the engine and remove the engine switch key.
2.
Remove the oil reservoir cap and the diaphragm.
3.
Refill the transmission (HST) oil to an middle level
between the maximum level mark and minimum
level mark of the transmission (HST) oil reservoir.
Tightening torque:
Engine oil drain cover bolt:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m)
Right side cover bolt:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m)
Position the Snowblower on a level surface.

3. Minimum level mark “LOWER”
• Make sure that no foreign material such as dirt
enters the oil reservoir during refilling.
• Use the recommended transmission (HST) oil
only.
Recommended transmission (HST) oil:
Diesel engine oil
SAE 10W-30, Class CD or higher
