Periodic maintenance
The importance of maintenance
Safety is an obligation of the owner. Periodic inspection, adjustment and lubrication will
keep your machine in the safest and most efficient condition possible. The most impor-
tant points of machine inspection, adjustment, and lubrication are explained on the fol-
lowing pages.
Tool kit
These tools are provided with the Snowblower for user’s maintenance.
Check before use
The customer needs to perform the pre-operation check (See page 3-1). If any problems
are discovered during the inspection, contact a Yamaha dealer and request an inspection
or maintenance.
Periodic inspection
Yamaha dealers perform periodic inspections when requested by the customer.
The customer is responsible for contacting their Yamaha dealer to request a periodic
inspection.
Initial inspection ........................When one month has passed from the date of purchase
Storage inspection ....................Every 6 months
Inspection before season...........Every 12 months
If you are not familiar with maintenance work, have a Yamaha dealer do it for you.
