Operation
Starting the engine
1.
Turn the shift lever to the “N” (Neutral) position,
and make sure that both auger clutch lever and
drive clutch lever are releasing.
2.
Turn the fuel cock lever from the “STOP” position to
the “RUN” position.
3.
Move the throttle lever to the “FAST (START) ”
position.
4.
Start the engine by turning the engine switch key
to the “START ” position.
When the engine has started, release this key. The
key will return to the “ON ” position automatically.
Never operate the engine in a closed area. Exhaust
fumes contain harmful chemicals such as carbon
monoxide. Operating the engine in poor ventilated
area or indoor could cause the carbon monoxide
poisonous.
