Fuel pump module operation sound
Does not sound

 Measure the fuel

pump module input voltage.

Checking steps:

1. Connect a computer to the watercraft to

use the YDIS.

2. Using the 

“

Stationary test

”

 of the YDIS, lis-

ten for the fuel pump module operation
sound.

2. Measure:

Fuel pump module input voltage
Out of specification 

→

 Check the wiring

harness.

Measurement steps:

1. Disconnect the fuel pump module coupler

2. Push the unlock button, and then measure

the input voltage at the fuel pump module
coupler terminals (wiring harness end).

NOTE:

After the unlock button is pushed, voltage will
only be applied to the fuel pump module for 3
seconds.
