What is TAP?
The “Tap” parameter found in delay effects is the timing at which the delay sound is taken out of the delay loop.
To illustrate this function, the delay shown below is using a delay time setting of 360msec. However, with the
“Tap” parameter set to 60, the first delay sound will be heard at 216msec. This happens for the first delay sound
only. If the Feedback (FB.) level is increased, all subsequent delay sounds will be heard at 360msec. intervals.
