SLB300 Series

Owner’s Manual

Thank you very much for purchasing the Yamaha “SILENT Bass

TM

”.

The SLB300 series are a brand-new type of electric upright bass that achieves natural
sound and resonance by using the SRT POWERED system to reproduce studio-quality
sound in which the body resonance of a double bass was recorded using a high-quality
microphone, all the while keeping a semi-solid body structure that emphasizes quietness
and portability. The SLB300 PRO is a high-end model that not only pursues a high-qual-
ity appearance, but also maximizes the natural sound and playability with carefully
selected parts.
In order to obtain the maximum performance and enjoyment from this product, we urge
you to read this Owner’s Manual thoroughly before using the instrument. Please keep this
Owner’s Manual, together with the warranty, in a safe place for later reference.
