CLEANING THE AIR FILTER ELEMENTS

3. Clean:

• air filter element 

1

NOTE:

Remove any large particles from the air filter
element by hand, tap the air filter element to
remove most of the dust and dirt, and then
blow the remaining dirt out with compressed
air.

4. Check:

• air filter element

Damage 

→

 Replace.

5. Install:

• air filter element

(into the air intake duct grill)

6. Install:

• air intake duct grill

Cleaning the engine air filter element

1. Remove:

• driver seat
• passenger seat 
• console

Refer to “SEATS, ENCLOSURE, HOOD
AND CARGO BED” in chapter 8.

NOTE:

There is a check hose 

1

 at the bottom of the

air filter case. If dust and/or water collects in
this hose, clean the air filter element and air fil-
ter case.

2. Remove:

• air filter case cover
