NOTE:

Engine idling speed and throttle cable free play
should be adjusted properly before checking
the ignition timing.

1. Remove:

• driver seat
• passenger seat
• console

Refer to “SEATS, ENCLOSURE, HOOD
AND CARGO BED” in chapter 8.

2. Attach:

• tachometer
• timing light

(to the spark plug lead)
