14. "UTILITY" mode
14.2 Overload error reset and motor and servo power on/off
14.2.1
Emergency stop reset
An emergency stop status is established when an overload error occurs. The procedure for
resetting an emergency stop status is given in section "14.1.1 Canceling emergency stop".
14.2.2
Overload error reset
After resetting the emergency stop status, the overload error must be reset in order to
restore (enable) robot operation.
[Procedure]
1) After the emergency stop status has been reset, the following screen is displayed.

2) To reset the overload error, press
(YES).
The overload error status is then reset. Continue then, with the "14.1.2 Motor power
and servo on/off" procedure.
If the overload error is not to be reset, press
(NO).

NOTE
The overload error reset function is available in software Ver.9.36 onwards. In
Ver.9.35 and prior versions, the controller must be restarted in order to reset
an overload error.

CAUTION
If the "14.1.2 Motor power and servo on/off" procedure is used to turn the
motor power ON before the overload error has been reset, the internal
emergency stop flag will be activated again.
To reset the overload error, perform the procedure again from the
"14.2.1 Emergency stop reset" step.
